I’ve just stumbled across a kit that is aimed for the DIY group to allow you to convert your diesel burning automobile to run on vegetable oil. The kit from GreaseCar.com includes everything you will need besides the tools to convert your car over to run on that second hand oil. I will add the disclaimer that if you don’t know your way around a car, this is probably not the right thing for you.

If you have the mechanical know-how and the diesel car to try it out on, I think this is something that is definitely worth looking into. I’ve actually been looking over the last couple months for a cheap diesel car or small truck to try and convert over for myself.
